On these forums, people have more fun saying what they don't like than what they do.

i would have to say monks, you have the pressure of the whole team on your shoulders. its a boring and stressful class to play although one that the game is almost impossible to play without.if our team looses its my fault and if we win i have spent the last half an hour staring at the red health bars. monk hands down.

That's because if it isn't broken, don't fix it.
If I had to say everything I like about Guild Wars, GW Guru would run out of forum space.
I voted Paragon as disfave, and Ranger (with Assassin close second) as fave.

my fav thing about this post are some of the crazy reasons as to WHY people dont like the classes they chose lmao.
so many "i dont like the armor.. so the class SUCKS"
or "i've tried one build ever (i.e. dropping spirits, or playing motivation line only paragon) and it was BORING... therefore.. THEY SUCK!"
and best of all.. "i've never played them, but from playing against them.. i HATE THEM.. anet.. PLEASE REMOVE FROM GAME!!!"
how many elementary schoolers do we have on this thread lmao... one more "remove this profession from game" or "nerf all their skills to hell" post and i'll go bonkers.. stop whining lolz

I think the fire elementalist is a pretty boring class. It isnt that difficult to hit the Meteor Shower and Searing Flames button and watch your opponent burn to death. *Yawn*

...Um, okay...
Anyways! I'll say why I personally don't like the Paragon class. It's mainly a support class. I prefer to be head-to-head with the enemy. It's not because the Paragon class is boring. I just like to deal damage, and lots of it.

Paragon's because they're still way too powerful... and I don't like them because of it.

Meh, almost went paragon, but I had to go with Dervish. It's playing style requires a different mindset that what I usually employ on My Mesmer...

Dervish, it is even more passive than the Warrior...and I can't stand playing a warrior for a long time.
Dervish = lay enchant/form/etc. --> hit with attacks.
Coupled with the fact that they rely on energy, basically 80% of things shut them down: snares, hexes, energy denial, cripple, etc which means mending touch and Melandru's Avatar ftw...
at least the warrior won't get energy denied...
People shouldn't hate on sins, good sins that teleport and physical damage spike actually have some action...
Paragons can actually buff things...

Monk. I like being an offensive minded character. Be it launching arrows or spears at an enemy from a distance, nuking them with AoE spells, running up and hacking enemies with swords, daggers, scythes or what not, raising an undead horde to mow down enemies, throwing curses and/or degen hexes, shutting down an enemy via interrupts, spreading conditions, or whatever. With a monk, I have to focus on the party, not the enemies, which I don't care to do. Sure, I can use smite skills if I want, but for general PvE use smiting prayers aren't exactly overly useful either.:-/

Ritualist - horrible from a design perspective.
I read through the first page and got pretty scared by what some of you guys think.

Warrior. One of the easiest classes to learn and play, making it boring (for me). I just don't enjoy running in and smashing.

Warrior. Too boring. Generic smash and grunt.

Warrior. So boring to just hit things with blunt objects that do no obvious damage... I mean, there's just no gore. At least if I'm playing other classes I can focus more on what I'm doing. But warrior is too easy. Plus I don't like the look the class, least attractive IMO.

Agree to disagree I guess

I'd would like to change my opinion to Rt now (Since I finally made a successful PvE monk character, once I got some elites going it was much better than I expected). But Rts, they have channeling, but an air ele can do better, they have resto, but a monk can do that job better, Spirit spamming is slow and boring,(Atleast minions are faster and more useful in PvE) And I hate spirit strength, Avatar of Lyssa, or a primary assassin can do far better in my opinion (Assassin have access to the great skills in crit strkies, and D/A can use heart of fury etc) I cannot see anything great in a Rt.

Hehe, agreed, thats why i lik playing restoration rits because the healing is done more passively. And as for my least favorite class: its warrior, even with 16 weapon mastery i still find my self hitting around 40 damage at a lvl 24 /60 armor level foe. Warriors don't make a difference unless they run a tank build .

Never played a channeler rit, but my spirit spammer can do a remarkable amount of damage in a remarkably short time. As for Spirit's Strength, well, in AB's, my Spirit Strength rit has killed every dervish he's gone up against, and has killed or drawed with quite a few sins as well. A sin can be more dangerous true, but I've yet to see a dervish as intimidating.

hm. i understand your opinion, but i'd have to strongly disagree with the last part there..
warriors eat damage by attacking first, making some of the best utility in the game by attacking in the first wave of danger, mowing down foes, high AL and low alike. all the other melee are really only good at lower AL targets other than the Paragon and the assassin with a longer than normal chain. Dont forget, warriors have the best DW moves in the game, and are the most consistent DPS out there. Tanking doesnt even work in GWs other than if you mean by the first 10 seconds of AI going for the war because he's the only out there infront

There is no bad class. Saying, a warrior is useless and boring is quite amateurish. There are just classes that some people dont like playing and just because they don't it doesn't mean they have to say "Assassins suck etc."
I voted Necro, although it's also fun to play sometimes. Favorite is warrior
